Tanya Jones – The Cold Facts About Organ Banking

2014, Health & Longevity
Presented By: Tanya Jones

Tanya Jones is consumed by the way cold impacts our bodies. This cryonics pioneer also considers the ethics and philosophy of indefinite life extension in her work, where she has posed the question, “When are you irretrievably dead?” Some of the lessons learned from her early research led her to co-found Arigos Biomedical, which aimed at developing a methodology for the long term banking of transplantable human organs. Today she continues that work as CEO and Founder of Keinice Bio. She joined us in 2014 to talk about her ongoing efforts to effectively freeze and store organs, which, when successful, could double the number of transplants performed each year.
