From a starting field of over 1,000 designs, The Waterloo Hyperloop Team (“Waterloop”) was one of 80 finalists in the Hyperloop competition launched by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Applied Physics student Jake Malliaros led the team, which included more than 150 Waterloo undergrads.
