Overcoming The Odds

In 1997, Australian adventurer Warren MacDonald spent two days trapped under a giant boulder, which fell on him while mountain climbing and left him a double leg amputee. Amazingly, his near-death experience did not stop him from a future that included cycling, kayaking and, most surprisingly, climbing. He approached his adversity as a constructive challenge, and grew from it. “I wouldn’t change what happened if I could”, he told the ideacity audience in 2006. His message hasn’t changed in the last two decades; to this day, Warren travels the world, sharing his belief that how we see and perceive the world, helps shape our reality.
