Severn Cullis-Suzuki – The Next Steps Towards Sustainability

2004, Animals, Science & Technology
Presented By: Severn Cullis-Suzuki

We’re all human animals, we are all acutely dependent on our surroundings for our survival, for our existence, so we all have to be concerned about our environment, says environmentalist and author Severn Cullis-Suzuki. Severn brings up the fact that there are some serious issues affecting not only biodiversity, but natural habitats and cultural diversity. We are losing languages, we are losing cultures, traditional practices and traditional knowledge. We live in a time of simultaneous opening up of potential and possibility, yet, at the same time, there is a shrinking window of possibility in terms of diversity and biodiversity.
