In this 2007 appearance, Inuk lawyer, activist and seal skin clothes designer Aaju Peter discusses her life in the Arctic, the controversy over seal hunting and her journey to the Netherlands to protest at its Parliament. Using a traditional song, she frames the connection between the seal, the Inuit and the Arctic and discusses how saving Aboriginal peoples’ way of life is also saving the seal.
