To date, SpaceIL’s programs, promoting education and scientific exploration, have reached over 300,000 children across Israel.
Yonatan Winetraub was part of the International Space University Program at NASA Ames, studying how we can create colonies on Mars using shelter and water from Martian lava caves. He studied electrical engineering and computational neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, studying how regions in the brain collaborate to create emotions. Currently he is a PhD candidate at Stanford University, working on a method of intercepting and interpreting cancer cell communications.
