Paul Gross

From his role as Constable Benton Fraser on the award-winning drama “Due South” to the stages of the Stratford Festival where he performed the title role in Hamlet, Paul Gross is one of Canada’s most popular actors.

His role on “Due South” earned him a 1995 and 1996 Gemini Award for Best Actor, but he is also a talented writer who has won awards for his original plays.

He produced and starred in the CTV movie Murder Most Likely, and has also appeared in a number of television movies including Getting Married in BuffaloJumpCold Comfort, and Buried Sunday.

In 1997, he and songwriting partner David Keeley released their first country/rock CD called Two Houses. Gross is preparing to direct and star in Men With Brooms, a feature film about curling he co-wrote with John Krizanc. He lives in Toronto.
