Patricia Pearson



Patricia Pearson is an internationally-acclaimed journalist and author whose work has appeared in The New Yorker and the New York Times, among many publications. Known as “genre-busting” (Salon) she has published books and produced documentaries on a variety of thought-provoking subects, often turning conventional wisdom on its head. The documentary based on her 2008 book, “A Brief History of Anxiety…Yours and Mine,” won the best social issues award at the Banff Global Television Festival, and her most recent book, “Opening Heaven’s Door,” was nominated for the B.C. National Book Award. She is also the co-founder of Bellwoods Press, which creates privately-commissioned biographies.
