Juan Lozano

CityTV is everywhere, even in Bogotá, Colombia, where Juan Lozano serves as the television station’s director of information and editorials. He is also a member of the editorial board of El Tiempo newspaper, Colombia’s leading daily which covers domestic and international news.

Before joining CityTV Bogotá, Lozano was an editorial consultation and columnist for El Tiempo. He is a professor of law and social communications and has taught at the universities of Los Andes, Rosario, Javeriana and Sergio Arboleda. He holds a law degree from the University of Los Andes (ULA) in Colombia, and also studies economics at Harvard and ULA.

Lozano has served as a political consultant for President Cesar Gaviria, as the private secretary for Luis Carlos Galán up to his assassination, and as an associate with the law firm Baker & Mackenzie.
