Hawksley Workman

Hawksley Workman is a Canadian musician with over ten full-length albums to his credit. He has also produced albums for well-known Canadian artists including Skydiggers, Great Big Sea, Sarah Slean and Tegan and Sara. In 2002, he won Junos for Best New Solo Artist and Best Video (for Jealous of Your Cigarette).

Born in Muskoka, Ontario, Workman displayed an early passion for music and theatre, eventually moving to Toronto to pursue a career both producing and performing. He debuted his unique brand of glam-rock on his own label, Isadora Records, in 1999, and went on to garner critical acclaim in Canada and the United States as well as in Europe. A prolific singer and songwriter, he also plays guitar, drums, bass and keyboards. Workman has also worked as an actor on various film and television productions.
