Artist & Photographer
Asa Mathat is a passionate artist who has been in the photo industry for over thirty years. Working mainly in portraiture and fashion, he’s developed a true talent of bringing out the best in everyone he captures on camera. Looking to give back in the most meaningful way possible, he pours his heart into service. He created the ASA Foundation in order to do just that. His projects allow him to better the lives of others and spread awareness through his work. His current project is Camp Enlightenment, a photo and cinematography school for homeless, foster, and disadvantaged LGBTQ youth. The youth he works with will have the opportunity to work with some of the best photographers in the world. His hope is to provide these young adults with a foundation of life skills, a strong understanding of the art of photography, and instill a thirst to serve and give back.
