Lindsay Shepherd is a graduate student and teaching assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, working on her M.A. in Cultural Analysis and Social Theory. Her research focuses on Canadian campus culture and freedom of expression in universities. She has a B.A. (Hons) in Communication and Political Science from Simon Fraser University. She is the President and co-founder of the Laurier Society for Open Inquiry — a collective of students, professors, and community members who seek to promote a culture of free speech and viewpoint diversity. She has appeared on The Rubin Report, Louder with Crowder, and The Mark Steyn Show, and has been published in Maclean’s magazine and the National Post.
